Austin Driving School in North Austin is located at 2927-B W. Anderson Lane. The center is conveniently located 3 blocks south of Anderson Lane next to the infamous Kolache Shoppe behind the Local Post Pub. Neighboring businesses include Tacodeli and Tuesday Morning.

This location offers year round teenage driver’s education with free afterschool pickup from McCallum, Lanier and Anderson High School. In addition, individuals 18 + can take a six hour classroom course along with the written portion of the DPS examination in order to obtain a learner’s permit or an individualized six hour course in English or Spanish. Adults are also welcome to take private adult behind the wheel driving lessons in preparation for the driving test. These lessons include free pickup and drop off from home, school, or work. Ticket Dismissal Courses (English/Spanish) are conveniently offered on Saturdays. DPS Authorized Road Test (Third Party Skills Test) Examiners are on site at this location to offer the driving test.

We also offer the six hour course in audio/visual format on a computer at several of our offices. This format of the course is beneficial for individuals needing to move at their own pace, have trouble reading / writing, or need the course in Spanish.
